How to proceed?

Admission

Admission is based only on the results of university entrance exams. They are held in July and August each year, and in some cases of additional enrollment for contractual education – in September.

During the period of martial law in Ukraine, entrance exams are held remotely via electronic video communication online. Personal proof of identity is required.

Training is provided at the expense of individuals or legal entities and, if there are budget places in the specialty “public management and administration”, by state order.

Features of admission in 2023:

  1. All applicants to our master’s program will be enrolled based on the results of the Unified Entrance Examination (UEE), which is a test of general academic competence and a foreign language test for all specialties. Thus, it is known that the USE is used for specialties in the fields of Public Administration and Management, International Relations, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Journalism, Management and Administration, and Law.
  2. Without external exams, but only on the basis of the results of entrance exams at a higher education institution, it will be possible to enroll on a contract on the basis of a complete general secondary education, a vocational bachelor’s degree and a bachelor’s degree for studying in a specialty that is provided with special support (53 specialties and 11 specializations).
  3. Registration for the NMT-2023 will start in April 2023. Applicants will be able to submit up to 20 applications for all sources of funding and grounds for admission, of which no more than 5 applications for state or regional order places.
  4. All privileged categories, participants from the temporarily occupied territories, and de-occupied territories will be able to enroll in the distance learning model of their choice. Accordingly, they must conclude an agreement within three months of arriving at the educational institution to study.
  5. In the 2023 admission campaign, it is not planned to use (a) average scores from previously obtained educational documents and (b) the rural coefficient.
  6. The sectoral coefficient will be used to support applicants on the basis of a complete general secondary education and an educational and professional degree of a professional junior bachelor with a priority choice of one of the specialties that is provided with special support.
  7. The regional coefficient will be determined in the spring of 2023 and will depend on the military and political situation in Ukraine.

Enrollment for study

Competitive selection is based on the results of entrance examinations and the average score of a higher education diploma. For our master’s program, the passing score based on the results of the entrance exams is approximately 165 points out of 200 points.
