Legal provision for public administration

The discipline is designed to reveal the content of legal provision of public administration in the conditions of social and post-war modernization. For this, relevant theoretical topics and practical tasks were included, which contribute to the improvement and deepening of knowledge about the concepts, features, and types of public service in Ukraine; form the ability to identify and analyze current forms of legal regulation to solve the tasks of public management and administration. The discipline consists of two meaningful modules: “Legal support of public management & administration”, and “Organizational and legal foundations of public service in Ukraine”, each of which contains several lecture topics and which are presented in the original author’s submission of an experienced teacher.

Volume of study load: 5 ECTS credits.

  • confidently navigate a mandatory legal field of activity of public authorities
  •  to know theoretical & applied principles of development and analysis of public policy, the foundations & technologies of management decision-making.
  • to solve complex tasks of public management and administration, taking into account the legal requirements, to identify legal conflicts & problems, to develop projects of regulatory & legal acts to eliminate them.
  • to represent public administration bodies & other organizations of the public sphere & present the results.
