Strategic management & project management

This is a traditional and fundamental discipline for the Institute which has absorbed long-years of experience in teaching the disciplines ‘strategic planning’, ‘strategic management’ and ‘project management’ precisely for the master’s level in several specialties.

The goal of the discipline is to get acquainted with the modern theoretical and methodological basis, approaches to develop and implement a strategic management and project management in conditions of social and post-war modernization of Ukraine, formation of basic scientific apparatus of research in applicants, formation of abilities and skills in the application of mechanisms, methods and tools of strategic forecasting, project planning and management, scientific substantiation of strategies to develop a public sphere, mastering the latest theories, concepts, methods of developing strategies and methods of public management and administration.

Volume of study load: 5 ECTS credits.

  • be able to develop projects of strategic documents for development of socio-economic systems at the central, regional, local and organizational levels, as well as be able to determine most relevant indicators
  • to know theoretical and applied principles of development and analysis of public policy, technologies of decision-making
  • to manage innovations, resources, risks, projects, changes, quality, apply modern models, approaches and technologies, international experience in the design and reorganization of management and general organizational structures.
