Digital analytics and data visualization

This discipline is new for the institute, but it absorbed the teacher’s project experience in the field of data analysis and e-democracy for Ukraine.

The world of modern digital data is simply colossal. But every day it expands and becomes more complicated. The volume of new data is growing rapidly, connections between different data domains are becoming more complicated, and technologies for their analysis and visualization for presentation needs are changing. Therefore, this new discipline immerses the student in the field of working with data and develops relevant basic skills.

Among the main topics will be: functions and tasks of digital analytics; methods of analysis and technologies for working with data; technologies and tools for working with data; public and private data analysis systems; basics of working and analyzing big data and cloud computing; basics of data visualization; resources and data visualization tools, etc.

The discipline offers not only an interesting and original specialist’s view on these and many other related issues, but also joint provocative discussions around these and related issues.

Volume of study load: 5 ECTS credits.
