Monetary and currency policy

To be selected in this new educational program, this discipline has undergone significant changes comparing to the version that has been taught in our Institute for masters in public administration for years.

Now this discipline offers a generalized and critical view of the experienced tutor Dr. Viktor Kosenko on what the ‘design’ is & where the modern monetary and currency policies of the state are being transformed. These two types of economic policy are the key ones for a country to feel confident in turbulent macro environment, to obtain political and macroeconomic predictability. Moreover, every citizen of a country experiences some manifestations & consequences of these two policies every day: the currency exchange rate, the money supply in circulation, bank refinancing rates, currency conversion conditions, the balance of payments, the availability and price of money for credit, etc. Moreover, in our life is already beginning to use ‘digital money’ (CBDC) as a third form of money (in addition to cash and non-cash). This is an unconditional global trend, so these questions will be one of the main ones in this discipline.

The discipline offers not only an interesting & original specialist’s view on these and many other related issues, but also joint provocative discussions around these & related issues.
