GR-management: interaction with authorities

The discipline is traditional for our institute and has absorbed many years of scientific and practical consulting experience of the tutor, professor Igor Dunayev in working with authorities at different levels and in different countries.

The purpose of the discipline is the formation of the student’s complex of knowledge in building non-corrupt relations between interested structures and authorities in order to achieve the common good and the development of practical skills to use this knowledge in practice in public activities. Practical classes are built around a broad discussion of the latest cases of non-corruption interaction with public authorities.

Volume of study load: 5 ECTS credits.

  • to shape knowledge and skills in the field of GR-analysis, competences in expert-analytical work and assessment of problem situations
  •  to form knowledge and skills in the field of GR design, protection and justification of the best solutions for problem situations
  • to shape skills in the field of GR-management at the strategic and operational levels, certain methods of providing public-management influence and lobbying.

The discipline develops the following competencies: ability to work in a team (in small group), including – to convey one’s opinion and listen to the opinion of one’s colleagues in a small group; more developed interpersonal communications; the ability to form and prove one’s own reasoned justification of decisions, having previously established the relationships of the researched object with the surrounding environment; the ability to form projects of management decisions and recommendations for the company’s management (as micro-consulting).
